To All Of My Girlfriends ~ I Couldn’t Do It Without You!

by Nicole Mangina on February 20, 2010

I have had some great girl time this week!  On Thursday night I got together with some other girlfriends for a girls night and  Friday was a great Ninja Mom’s meeting.  One was purely social and the other was more business focused, but they both made my day.

Growing up I never really had a lot of girlfriends, but as I get older my girlfriends mean everything to me.  Let’s face it as women real estate agents, we are a quirky bunch.  We tend to have get it done attitudes, we are a bit bossy, we can take on the world at work and yet still be there to nurture and support our families, and we are pretty smart and know how to solve our own problems.  Now I think these are all perfect traits, but rumor has it other people can find the get it done and bossy part of us a bit annoying from time to time. All I know is that there is nothing like having true, loyal friends who know your quirks and love you anyway.  We laughed on Thursday night about all of our quirks and the fact that we know we might be odd, but it is who we are.  One of the things we laughed the hardest about was ~ what crazy things have you bought into over the years that promised to ‘transform’ your business and did absolutely nothing for it? Or what fantastic thing did you used to do in your business that had great results and you don’t do it anymore and you can’t remember why you stopped?

My girlfriends have been there for me a lot over the years and I can honestly say that I couldn’t have done it without you.  You have encouraged me when I was unsure of myself, talked me off the ledge when I got fired up about things, you remind me that anything truly is possible ~ we just need to keep moving forward, and you can make me laugh until I cry.  So thank you for being you and for being there for me.

Sending you hugs and love,
Nicole
